Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sculptape (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit sculptape.com, make a purchase, or communicate with us. By using the Site you consent to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, order details, communications with support, review and survey content, and payment details (collected and processed by our payment processors — we do not store full card numbers).
Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scroll behavior, and similar usage data, collected via cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies.
Advertising and analytics technologies: we and our partners use cookies and pixels — including the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Conversions API, Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, TikTok pixel, and similar technologies — to measure site performance, attribute purchases to advertising, build audiences (including custom and lookalike audiences), and personalize marketing. These partners may combine data collected on our Site with data they hold independently under their own privacy policies.
2. How we use information
- To process and fulfill orders, manage subscriptions and Try Before You Buy charges, and provide support.
- To send transactional communications (order, shipping, billing, and legal notices), which you cannot opt out of while doing business with us.
- To send marketing by email and SMS where permitted — opt out any time via the unsubscribe link or by replying STOP.
- To measure, improve, and secure the Site; to test offers and pages; to prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.
- To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights, customers, and operations.
3. How we share information
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf — payment processors, fulfillment and shipping partners, ecommerce and subscription platforms, email/SMS providers, analytics and advertising partners, fraud-prevention services, and customer-support tooling. We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets; to comply with law or legal process; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sculptape, our customers, or others. We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain sharing with advertising partners may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you may opt out as described below.
4. Your choices and rights
- Marketing: unsubscribe links appear in every marketing email; reply STOP to any SMS.
- Cookies: most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may impair Site functionality. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals; where legally required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and may opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, by contacting support with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity and respond as required by law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- EEA/UK visitors: where GDPR applies, our legal bases are contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation; you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
5. Data retention and security
We retain information as long as needed for the purposes described here, including legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes, then delete or de-identify it. We use commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support and we will delete it.
7. International transfers
We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
8. Changes; contact
We may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date; material changes may be additionally notified by email or Site notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Privacy questions and requests: support, subject line “Privacy Request.”
