READ THIS DISCLAIMER BEFORE USE. BY PURCHASING OR USING ANY SCULPTAPE PRODUCT, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS DISCLAIMER AND THAT YOU EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISK OF USE.
1. Cosmetic accessory; no medical claim
Sculptape products are cosmetic accessories: adhesive panels and lift kits that provide a temporary, physical smoothing or lifting effect that lasts only while the product is worn. They are not medical devices; they are not drugs; they do not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition; and they cause no permanent change to skin, tissue, or body shape. Any references to cellulite, skin laxity, or skin appearance describe a temporary cosmetic effect on the appearance of the skin while the product is worn, not a change to the underlying condition.
2. No medical advice
Nothing on the Site, packaging, advertising, social media, or any other Sculptape material is medical advice or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Statements attributed to any clinician, including our founder, are general commentary and not advice to you. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any question regarding a medical condition or the suitability of any product for you. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this Site.
3. Results not typical; testimonials
Individual results vary. Photographs and videos on the Site depict the product’s temporary cosmetic effect while worn on the individuals shown; your results depend on your skin, the treated area, application quality, and other factors. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of your outcome. Any customer counts, ratings, or review summaries reflect data at the time of publication and may include early-access and promotional customers.
4. Who should NOT use Sculptape
Do not use any Sculptape product if any of the following applies, unless your physician approves use in advance:
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to adhesives, silicones, or adhesive dressings.
- The application area has broken, irritated, sunburned, or infected skin; an open wound; a rash; active eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis; or a recent scar, procedure, or injection site.
- You have diabetes, poor circulation, neuropathy, fragile or thinning skin, or a clotting or healing disorder.
- You are pregnant or nursing (consult your physician first, particularly for abdominal application).
- The user is under 18. Sculptape products are for adults only and must be kept away from children; film panels can present a suffocation hazard.
- You are unable to remove the product yourself or to feel discomfort at the application site.
5. Safe-use requirements
- Apply only to clean, dry, lotion-free, intact skin. Do not apply over broken or compromised skin.
- Patch-test before first use: apply a small piece to the inside of your forearm for several hours and check for redness or irritation before a full application.
- Do not exceed 16 hours of continuous wear. Do not sleep in the product. Give skin a rest between wears.
- Remove gently — peel low and slow, folding the panel back on itself; never rip upward. If removal is uncomfortable, warm water eases release. Discontinue use immediately if redness, itching, blistering, or irritation develops and persists.
- The Profile (face kit): the anchors and cords create tension by design. Follow the included instructions, do not exceed comfortable tension, do not anchor over the temple artery area, keep cords away from the eyes, and do not wear while driving or sleeping.
- The Lift (nude cups): do not apply over nipple piercings with jewelry in place; remove jewelry or avoid use.
- Each panel is single-use. Do not share used panels. Store away from heat and children.
6. Assumption of risk
BY PURCHASING OR USING ANY SCULPTAPE PRODUCT, YOU EXPRESSLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH ITS USE OR MISUSE, including without limitation skin irritation, redness, allergic or sensitivity reactions, adhesive residue, discomfort on removal, temporary marks, or aggravation of an existing skin condition, whether or not such risk was foreseeable and whether or not caused in part by your failure to follow instructions. This assumption of risk applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sculptape and the Indemnified Parties described in the Terms of Service from any claim arising out of your use or misuse of any Sculptape product, your failure to follow this Disclaimer or the included instructions, or any medical condition that made the product unsuitable for you.
8. No warranty of outcome
We make no warranty of any particular cosmetic outcome, of suitability for your skin, or of fitness for any particular occasion or use. See the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations in the Terms of Service, which apply to this Disclaimer in full.
9. Adverse-reaction reporting
If you experience a significant skin reaction, stop use and contact your physician; for emergencies contact emergency services. We ask (but do not require) that you also report the reaction to support with your order number, photographs, and a description, so we can investigate. Reporting does not create any liability, admission, or obligation on our part.
10. International users
The Site and products are intended for users in the United States. If you access or purchase from elsewhere, you do so at your own risk, are responsible for compliance with local law, and agree that this Disclaimer, the Terms, and Delaware law govern to the maximum extent permitted.
11. Changes; acknowledgement
We may update this Disclaimer at any time by posting a revised version. Your use of any Sculptape product constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer, including the assumption of risk in Section 6.
